10 Years of Pier15 – A Visual Archive of Young Adult Culture in Breda

Over the past decade, thousands of photographs have been taken at Pier15. In collaboration with the Stadsarchief Breda and photographer Rosa Meininger, this extensive archive has been reviewed and curated into a book offering a unique insight into ten years of young adult culture in Breda.

The publication covers the period from the construction of Pier15 in 2014 through major events such as the Volcom Garden Experience in 2024. It documents the growth of a cultural hub and captures the energy, creativity, and spirit of a generation.

Currently building an exhibition celebrating the book at the Central Station in Breda

In December, we made our newly released photobook available as raw material for a collaborative zine-making session. Participants were invited to cut, tear, glue, and assemble their own creations, with a typewriter and scanner on hand to complete the process. It was great to see everyones creations, which we assembled in a folding-zine.
